Ingredients

4 Golden Delicious apples

Powdered cinnamon

Butter

Lemon juice

A pinch of salt

HOW TO MAKE

Preheat the oven to 180°c. Peel the apples and remove the core. Rub the apples with the lemon juice and place them in a Pyrex dish, along with a bit of water (a couple of centimetres deep or so) and three spoonfuls of San Giuliano Mandarin Marmalade. Add a knob of butter, cinnamon to taste, and a spoon-full mandarin marmalade in the emptied core of each apple. Place them in the oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until the apples are a deep golden colour. Leave to cool a few moments before serving. * The mandarin marmalade may be substituted with any of the San Giuliano citrus marmalades.
